This book was amazing! It took me only two days to read it. Given that I have schoolwork, that’s fast. I was absolutely taken in with the writing. Pearson does a great job of taking us through Jenna’s thought processes and explorations. She revealed just enough at each stage–I was utterly drawn in to the situation. However, she also does a really good job of presenting the bigger picture: the setting and Jenna’s situation were really great, and I liked that everything wasn’t black and white. Just when I had thought I had solidified my position on a character or the situation, something else would happen. I was surprised by the ending and am not sure I agree with it, but that still did not detract from my enjoyment of the book. I recommend that you check this one out!
